Masked Men Rob Gas Station Worker In Nutley: Cops

Nutley PD: A pair of masked men, one holding a handgun, allegedly robbed a gas station attendant and tried to lock them in the office.

NUTLEY, NJ — A pair of masked men, one holding a handgun, allegedly robbed a gas station attendant in Nutley and tried to lock the employee in the station’s office earlier this month, authorities say.

According to the Nutley Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance call at a Centre Street gas station on Jan. 8. On arrival, the attendant told officers that they were robbed by two men, one of whom had a gun.

The men then tried to lock the attendant in the gas station’s office. They ultimately took the employee’s money and cell phone and fled the scene, police said.

The victim described the suspect that wielded the gun as a white male wearing dark clothing and a black, half-face mask.

The victim described the second suspect as a black male in all dark clothing wearing a full, black face mask, police said.
