Missing Teens From Nutley, Montclair Found Unharmed: Police

Nutley police say that a 16-year-old local teen was found in the company of another missing teen from Montclair.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – UPDATE: Nutley police announced Monday that after an investigation, officers were able to determine that Haley Lever, reported missing on Sunday, had ties with a 17-year-old Montclair juvenile who was also reported missing since December 4. Police were able to locate Lever with the assistance of Montclair police, along with the missing 17-year-old from Montclair. Both juveniles were unharmed and in good health. Nutley police are searching for a missing teen who may be in the Montclair area. Authorities said that Haley Lever, 16, may have left on her own will and was last seen on Saturday night.

According to the Nutley Police Department, Lever’s father reported her missing on Sunday morning. He last saw her at 10 p.m. on Saturday.

“It is believed she left on her own will and may be in the Montclair area,” police stated.

Police described Lever as 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds, with brown hair with green highlights. (See below photo)

Anyone with information about Lever’s location can contact Nutley police at 973-284-4940, or use the department’s anonymous tip line by texting “CRIMES” and starting the message with NPDTIP. People can also log into www.Tipsoft.com and submit a web tip by narrowing the selection to “Nutley.”
