Momentum Builds For 2022 Nutley St. Patrick's Day Parade

Preparations have officially begun for the 43rd St. Patrick's Day Parade in Nutley.

NUTLEY, NJ — Momentum is building for the 2022 Nutley St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 5.

This year will mark the 43rd incarnation of the popular local event, according to the Nutley Irish American Association, which has organized the parade since 1979.

“The 43rd St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be on March 5, 2022. Preparations have officially begun. Parade day will begin with an Investiture Mass at St. Mary’s Church at 10 a.m. Parade lineup will begin at noon at the Holy Family parking lot, and the parade step off will begin promptly at 1 p.m. If you would like to march in the parade but have a physical restriction that keeps you from marching, please contact us and we can arrange to have a car for you.”

A post parade party will take place at the Parks and Rec building at 44 Park Avenue in Nutley from 3 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Kids 12 and under are $10, and kids 5 and under are free. The family friendly event will include music by The Captain & O’Neill Band. For tickets, contact Brenda at bcsherman1521@gmail.com.
