Motorcycle Mall Opening Larger Store

Leading motorcycle shop is moving from south to north in Belleville on Saturday.

One of Belleville’s most successful businesses is officially opening a larger store Saturday morning.

Motorcycle Mall is a family-owned Belleville business that has recently opened a brand new, two-story, 108,000 square-foot store at the township’s northern end, at 655 Washington Ave. The previous location took up most of the block across from Town Hall, at 165 Washington on the southern end of the avenue, according to Rich Gonnello, the Motorcycle Mall’s director of marketing.

To celebrate the new dealership and 35 years of business in Northern New Jersey, Motorcycle Mall will cut the ribbon on its new location this Saturday, April 21 at 10 a.m. The ceremony begins a two-day grand opening extravaganza on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Motorcycle Mall was founded in 1975 by John Resciniti Sr. and his son, John Resciniti Jr. as they sold Indian dirt bikes in Newark. Two years later, they expanded facility and moved to Belleville, at 165 Washington Ave, according to Gonnello.
