Motorcyclist Succumbs To Injuries After Belleville Crash: Police
A Hudson County man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in Belleville, police said.
BELLEVILLE, NJ — A motorcyclist lost control and crashed in Belleville last week, later succumbing to his injuries, police said.
According to the Belleville Police Department, the crash took place at 7:08 p.m. on Friday, when the rider of a 2021 Kawasaki EX4 was travelling west on Bloomfield Avenue.
The rider – later identified as Javier Pineda-Chu, 44, of Kearny – lost control of the motorcycle near the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Heckel Street. He was ejected from the motorcycle and slid into a vehicle, police said.

Pineda-Chu was transported to Clara Maass Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
An investigation continues, authorities said Wednesday.
