N.J. Man Charged In Fatal Belleville Crash
Prosecutors say that the crash took place when a driver allegedly crossed into incoming traffic on Belleville Avenue.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Authorities have charged a Bloomfield man with vehicular homicide in connection with the May 27 death of 33-year-old Belleville resident Luis Davila.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the fatal crash took place around 8:30 p.m. on Belleville Avenue in Belleville when Alan Faynzilberg, 19, allegedly crossed into incoming traffic and hit Davila head-on.
In addition to the vehicle homicide charge, Faynzilberg, who sustained injuries in the crash, was also charged with aggravated assault for “severe injuries” sustained by his girlfriend who was a passenger in the vehicle, prosecutors said.

Faynzilberg was arrested at his home in Bloomfield Thursday, authorities said. His bail was set at $350,000.
