NJ Man Burglarized Mechanics Garage In Nutley: Police
Nutley police said inspection stickers and $5,000 worth of equipment was stolen. An Allendale resident has since been arrested.
NUTLEY, NJ — Police arrested an Allendale resident who allegedly burglarized a mechanics garage in Nutley last December, authorities announced Wednesday.
According to the Nutley Police Department, Jose Cardona, 36, of Allendale, was identified as the person responsible for the Dec. 26 burglary, which took place on Franklin Avenue. Cardona was captured on surveillance video at the scene, authorities said.
Police said inspection stickers and $5,000 worth of equipment was stolen during the evening hours.

Cardona was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief for allegedly damaging a $1,200 door, police said.
Nutley police credited their peers in Clifton for the arrest, who have been working with Saddle Brook and Lodi police on similar burglary cases.
