NJ Man Charged With DUI After Crash On Rt. 21 In Nutley
A Passaic resident was charged with driving while under the influence after a crash temporarily closed part of Rt. 21, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A Passaic resident was charged with driving while under the influence after a two-car crash temporarily closed part of Route 21 in Nutley on Thursday, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers responded to the southbound portion of the highway around 1:30 p.m. after getting a report about a car crash.
Police arrested Roberto Soto, 61, of Passaic, and charged him with driving while under the influence. He was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, then released with 11 summonses and a court date.

The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured, police said.
