NJ Pro Wrestlers Will Unite To Body Slam Cancer
Nutley-based IWF Wrestling is putting on a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. An exciting lineup of superstars will be on hand.
NUTLEY, NJ — Pro wrestlers from Nutley and Belleville will be among the superstars who unite in a battle against cancer at an annual fundraiser.
Nutley-based IWF Wrestling is putting on a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life on Saturday, April 23. It will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Parks and Rec Center, 44 Park Avenue in Nutley.

Local stars who will enter the ring for charity include IWF tag team champs Kevin “Master of Chaos” Knight of Nutley and Rik “Mr. Showmanship” Ratchet, as well as women's champion Vicki “Vivacious” Andreola of Belleville.

Other wrestlers will include Dark Oracle Sage, Atkins Brothers, Cyborg Rick Recon, Supersonic KC Bonilla, Jay Stehle, Justin Bongiovi, Glenn Burgess, Isaiah Lewis, All-Star Michele Dee, East Side Dave, Eloy Fiesta and Ken Reedy, organizers said.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for a “Legends Meet & Greet” session, where fans can meet their favorite athletes up close.
A special ceremony will honor IWF Hall of Fame Class of 2022 inductees.
Fans are asked to bring items for Noble Strength Animal Shelter Collection to be donated to Bloomfield & Montclair Animal Shelters. Items needed include sealed or canned dog or cat food/treats, bath towels, black contractor-size trash bags, paper towels, liquid dish & hand soap, laundry detergent, newspaper for lining cages, or basic cleaning products/supplies.
“As the pandemic recovery progresses, government mandates, state guidelines, and local public health requirements at the time of the event will be followed,” organizers said.
The event is presented by IWF Media LLC. Supporters include Township of Nutley Parks & Recreation Department, Mayor Mauro Tucci, Ocean Beach Sales and Rentals of Lavallette, Marketing Muscle of Nutley, Enforcer Fitness of Nutley, and Iron Revolution Gym of Howell.
Each spring, IWF’s anniversary event supports a nonprofit organization. The American Cancer Society has been the beneficiary since 2012.Since 1998, the IWF has produced 715 live events in 27 cities throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania benefiting American Cancer Society, Semper Fi & America's Fund, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tomorrows Children’s Fund, Twin Towers Orphan Fund, American Red Cross, United Way, Special Olympics New Jersey, Michael Robert Cammett Jr. Memorial Scholarship, Hayden's Heart INC., and the Nutley Policemen and Firefighters’ Benevolent Associations, as well as high school athletic and academic programs in Middletown, New Providence, North Arlington, Nutley, Verona and West Orange.
