Nutley And Bloomfield Police Investigate Burglary, Stolen Laptop

A burglar stole a laptop computer from a Nutley resident's home. It was later recovered in a stolen vehicle out of Bloomfield, police said.

NUTLEY, NJ — A burglar stole a laptop computer from a Nutley resident’s home earlier this week, but it was later recovered in a stolen vehicle out of Bloomfield, authorities said Friday.

The Nutley Police Department released the following details about the burglary, which took place Tuesday on Howard Place:

“A resident contacted headquarters reporting their residence was burglarized during the early morning hours. They stated they observed a window opened, and their work bag containing their laptop missing. Police later recovered the laptop in a stolen vehicle out of Bloomfield.”

Nutley and Bloomfield police are working together to identify the suspect or suspects, authorities said.
