Nutley Business Burglarized, Loses $2K Of Merchandise: Cops

All involved parties told police that they locked the front door to the building when they left for the evening, Nutley police said.

NUTLEY, NJ — A recently opened Nutley business was burglarized last week, losing more than $2,000 of merchandise, police said.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the Franklin Avenue business – which wasn’t named in their release – was burglarized on April 11. The owners of the store arrived to find the door unlocked and “multiple items” stolen and disturbed.

The value of the missing items came to more than $2,000, police said.
