Nutley Cops Arrest Woman After She Allegedly Defecates On Street

The West Milford woman was walking down Passaic Avenue when she stopped to relieve herself on the grass, Nutley police say.

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police charged a West Milford woman with lewdness earlier this month after she allegedly defecated while walking down Passaic Avenue, authorities say.

According to the Nutley Police Department, witnesses said that a woman carrying a plastic bag was walking south on Passaic Avenue towards Chestnut Street on March 22 when she stopped to do her business in public.

Nutley officers later stopped a female matching the witness description in the area. The woman admitted to officers that she pulled her pants down and relieved herself on the grass, police stated.

Police arrested the woman and transported her to police headquarters, where she was charged with lewdness, a disorderly person’s offense, authorities said.
