Nutley Cops Commended For Going Above And Beyond In 2016

These Nutley police officers answered the call – and more – during 2016.

NUTLEY, NJ — Several Nutley police officers received commendations for their on-duty contributions to the community during 2016 in a ceremony earlier this month.

On Dec. 8, Nutley Police Chief Thomas Strumolo presented the officers commendations for various jobs that were investigated throughout the year. Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Nutley Commissioner Mauro Tucci each gave a speech recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of the commended officers.

“Extraordinary efforts are put forth every day by our men and women in blue, and it is nice to recognize those who went above and beyond to help the residents in this community,” Strumolo said.
