NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police helped to find two missing people last week, authorities say.

On Thursday, a local parent reported that her 16-year-old daughter was missing, possibly having run away from home. Police registered the juvenile as missing and began an investigation. Officers searched several locations in Belleville before finding the missing teen on Centre Street in Nutley. She was unharmed, authorities said.

On Saturday, the Nutley Police Department put out a call for the public’s help after a 30-year-old man was reported missing. He was last seen walking from his home on Friday night, his mother told officers, and was also spotted on video footage from a Ring doorbell in the vicinity of Franklin and Joralemon in Belleville. He was found in Paterson and transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation. The missing man was also involved in a similar incident in the past; he was located in Clifton that time, authorities said.
