Nutley Cops Release Photo Of Suspected Religious Statue Thief
Nutley police say that 10 religious statues have disappeared since the beginning of the year.

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police have released a photograph of a person suspected of stealing almost a dozen religious statues in town.
According to the Nutley Police Department, 10 “religious type statues” have been reported stolen since the beginning of the year. The items have included a $300 statue depicting the Madonna, a 50-pound statue on Race Street and a $100 statue of St. Anthony.

In addition to the statues, the suspected thief may have also taken wicker furniture and decorative pots and vases from the same neighborhood, Nutley police said.

Police stated that officers have received video surveillance of an actor from a recent incident and are asking the public to take a look at the photo. [See above photo]. If they recognize the actor, residents can contact the Nutley Police Department at (973) 284-4940.
