Nutley Cops Teach 2nd Graders About 'Random Acts Of Kindness'
Nutley police officers from the LEAD program recently pitched in and read to students during "Random Acts of Kindness" week.
Nutley, NJ - Nutley police officers from the LEAD program recently pitched in during “Random Acts of Kindness” week with the second grade classes in the Nutley Public School District.
Led by Nutley school counselors, the officers read “Kindness is Cooler, Mrs. Ruler,” then helped students come up with acts of kindness which they could do on their own.
The students then wrote their ideas down on hearts and colored them in, and at the completion of the lesson, officers handed out stickers, rulers and coloring books to all students who were present.
