Nutley Dentists Team Up: Free Oral Cancer Screenings Available In April
Nutley residents are eligible for free oral cancer screenings as part of an upcoming public health program.

Nutley, NJ – Nutley residents are eligible for free oral cancer screenings as part of an upcoming public health program.
According to a township news release, in conjunction with Oral Cancer Awareness Month in April, several Nutley dentists will be participating in a National Awareness Program by providing free oral cancer screenings to the public.
“As oral cancer is a silent killer, and everyone is at risk, the Nutley Health Department acknowledges that screenings are significant to the health and wellbeing of our community,” town officials stated. “Essex County is one of New Jersey’s counties highest in HPV, a leading cause of oral cancer, with the lowest HPV vaccination compliance. Early detection and treatment significantly increases survival rates regardless of the cause of oral cancer.”
