Nutley Police: The car struck a retaining wall, two sets of front steps and a utility pole before finally coming to rest on a nearby lawn.

NUTLEY, NJ — A driver allegedly lost control of their vehicle on Kingsland Avenue in Nutley earlier this month, sending them careening into a retaining wall and onto a local property owner’s lawn, police say.
According to the Nutley Police Department, the driver of the vehicle told officers that on Dec. 5, they lost control of their car while driving on Kingsland Avenue. Police said that the car struck a retaining wall – damaging a six foot section – before hitting two sets of front steps and a utility pole, then finally coming to rest on the lawn of an adjacent property.
