Nutley Driver Punched During Road Rage Incident: Police

A road rage-fueled incident on Harrison Street escalated from words to violence, Nutley police say.

NUTLEY, NJ — A road rage-fueled incident on Harrison Street on July 3 escalated from words to violence and ended with one driver punching another, Nutley police say.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the victim told officers that he and an “aggressive driver” exchanged words. The other driver then got out of his car and punched him in the jaw, he said.

Police advised the victim about his right to sign a complaint for the assault.
