Nutley Foodies Get Ready: Town’s 1st ‘Restaurant Week’ Set For 2016
The Nutley Restaurant Week will feature food specials and prix fixe options for local diners. See some of the participating eateries here.
NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley foodies get ready… the town is primed for its first-ever Restaurant Week in 2016.
According to a town news release, the inaugural event will run from Sunday, Sept. 11 to Sunday, Sept. 18 at local eateries such as American Bistro (24 Washington Avenue), Gabriella’s Place (177 N Franklin Avenue), Cubanelle (522 N. Franklin Avenue), Luna Wood Fire Tavern (223 N. Franklin Avenue), Metropolis Mexican Grill (85 Union Avenue), and Franklin Steakhouse (238 Franklin Avenue).
“Diners enjoy specials and prix fixe options offered especially for Nutley Restaurant Week as they explore the wide range of cuisines that comprise our vibrant Nutley food scene,” town officials stated.

Participating restaurants are designated by a “Nutley Restaurant Week” poster, and an evolving list can be seen here. Nutley Restaurant Week kicks off with a free healthy food festival at the Nutley Farmers Market from noon to 2 p.m. on Sept. 11.
According to a release, the food fest is one of the Nutley Farmers Market initiatives under a New Jersey Healthy Communities Network grant to the Nutley Department of Health from Partners for Health Foundation.
