Nutley To Hold COVID-19 Bivalent Booster Shot Clinic

The Township of Nutley will hold a COVID-19 bivalent booster shot clinic open to residents 18 or older on Sept. 27.

NUTLEY, NJ — The Township of Nutley will hold a COVID-19 bivalent booster shot clinic open to residents 18 or older on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

According to a municipal news release, the bivalent booster clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nutley Health Department, 149 Chestnut Street. Appointments are required, and can be made online here or calling 973-284-4976.

“Individuals 18 years of age or older are eligible for a single booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent, if it has been at least two months since they have completed primary vaccination or have received the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine.”

People should remember to bring their COVID-19 vaccine cards to the clinic. They should also talk to their health care provider about their medical condition, and whether getting an additional dose is appropriate, Nutley officials said.
