The Township of Nutley will hold its 2018 Independence Day celebration – featuring a fireworks display – at the Park Oval on July 4.

NUTLEY, NJ — The Township of Nutley will hold its 2018 Independence Day celebration – featuring a fireworks display – at the Park Oval on Wednesday, July 4.

According to a municipal news release, Franklin Avenue will be closed from Chestnut Street to Church Street for the event, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include music, food and a fireworks display at dusk.

In the event of inclement weather the event will take place on the “next clear night,” Nutley town officials stated. For more information call the mayor’s office at (973) 284-4959 or visit www.nutleynj.org
