Nutley Library Will Temporarily Close (Here’s How Long, Why)
The temporary closure will begin on May 5. Here's what to know if you use the Nutley Public Library.

NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley Public Library will be closing for about two weeks to install carpets. The temporary closure will begin on Monday, May 5.
There will be no borrowing or pickup of physical materials during the renovations.
A reopening is planned for Wednesday, May 21. Public computers and full printing services will resume operation. Online requesting of items will also resume. Learn more here.

Here are some other points to keep in mind, library staff say:
- Online requests for physical items can be delivered to and picked up at any of the other 77 libraries in the BCCLS system. A password (PIN) on your library account is required.
- Nutley Library's outdoor drop box (located on the northeast corner of the building) will remain open for returning physical items. Items can also be returned at any of the other 77 libraries within the BCCLS system.
- 24/7 access to the library's digital collections will continue. A password (PIN) is required to access the digital collections, so be sure to have one set up on your library account.
- Have a reference question/request? Want to renew a book or having trouble accessing digital materials? Staff will respond to voice mail messages at 973-667-0405, ext. 2604 and email at library@nutleynj.org
