Nutley Lights Town Buildings Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
SEE: Nutley illuminated several of its municipal buildings with bright, pink lights to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
NUTLEY, NJ — Every October, people around the world pay homage to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which attempts to raise awareness about the disease and support those who have struggled with it.
This year, the township of Nutley offered a stirring tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, illuminating several of its municipal buildings with bright, pink lights. (See below)
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, other than skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States.
