It’s Final: Nutley Board of Education Local Election Results 2016

NUTLEY, NJ — One of the most mud-splattered U.S. presidential elections in recent history officially left its mark in Nutley for 2016 when voters weighed in Tuesday. But whose candidates emerged victorious?

According to the Essex County Clerk's Office, the final results are as follows:

Nutley Board of Education

20 of 20 districts reported

• Charles W. Kucinski - 5,843 votes (35.11 %)
• Daniel A. Carnicella - 5,424 votes (32.59 %)
• Brenda Sherman - 5,271 votes (31.67 %)

Several reported issues and delays were seen across New Jersey on Tuesday, including polling place lines that stretched blocks, a sign that appeared to tell voters that they needed ID to cast a ballot and malfunctioning voting machines.
