NUTLEY, NJ — One of the most mud-splattered U.S. presidential elections in recent history officially left its mark in Nutley for 2016 when voters weighed in Tuesday. But whose candidates emerged victorious?

- Charles W. Kucinski - 5,843 votes (35.11 %)
- Daniel A. Carnicella - 5,424 votes (32.59 %)
- Brenda Sherman - 5,271 votes (31.67 %)

Several reported issues and delays were seen across New Jersey on Tuesday, including polling place lines that stretched blocks, a sign that appeared to tell voters that they needed ID to cast a ballot and malfunctioning voting machines.
