Nutley Medical Patient Skips Out On $800 Bill: Police
A Nutley medical office says that a patient skipped out on an $800 bill after their medical plan declined to cover their treatment.

NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley medical office says that one of its patients skipped out on an $800 bill after their medical plan declined to cover their “cosmetic” treatment earlier this month.
According to the Nutley Police Department, a “local medical office” reported that one of its patients received cosmetic procedures to their lips and face at their office on Nov. 18. The procedures cost $800, and were not covered on the patient’s medical plan.

The patient then tried to pay with a credit card which was declined. They then told office staff that they were going to get their checkbook in the car and left the building.

They didn’t come back, police said.
The doctor’s office contacted their former patient about the unpaid bill but had no success recouping the expenses, police said.
