Nutley Neighbors Have Snow Dispute, Cops Called
A Nutley homeowner claims that a nearby apartment complex dumped snow on their property and caused damage to the garage, police say.
NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police were called to intervene in a snow-related dispute between neighbors on Union Avenue earlier this month, authorities say.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers received a snow removal complaint from a Union Avenue resident on Feb. 9. On arrival, officers spoke with the homeowner, who told them that a heap of snow had been plowed from the neighboring property onto theirs.
The resident told officers that the neighboring property is “owned by an apartment complex” and when the snow was shoved onto their property it squeezed against the side of the garage, causing a crack, police said.
