Nutley Police: Fight Between Lyft Driver, Passenger Turns Violent
An argument between a rideshare driver and a passenger turned physical, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — An argument between a rideshare driver and a passenger turned physical earlier this week, Nutley police said Friday.
The Nutley Police Department released the following statement about the incident, which took place Tuesday on Washington Avenue:
“The victim reported to officers that while using a Lyft ride to the bank drive thru, an argument occurred with the driver, which escalated to a physical altercation, resulting in injuries to the victim. Officers observed a cut to their right wrist, cuts on left hand, a scar on their lower back and redness under their right eye. The victim signed a form declining any medical attention. The vehicle was described as a Honda Accord.”
Lyft was contacted, and a report of the incident was filed with the company, Nutley police said.
