Nutley Police Find Deceased Man’s Body In Wharton Avenue Home

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police found a 29-year-old man dead in a Wharton Avenue home last week, authorities say.

According to the Nutley Police Department, a preliminary investigation revealed that a “self-inflicted gunshot wound” may have been the cause of death. Authorities closed off Wharton Avenue for about six hours so investigators could process the scene and the medical examiner could take possession of the body, police stated.
