Nutley Police Respond To ‘Overdose,’ Administer Narcan: Authorities
Nutley emergency responders administered Narcan to a man, who regained consciousness and was taken to a hospital, authorities said.
NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley emergency responders administered Narcan to a person last week, who regained consciousness and was taken to a hospital, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers got a 911 call about an “overdose” on April 6.
Dispatchers gave the victim’s relative instruction on how to perform CPR, until police and other emergency responders arrived and took over life-saving measures for the 33-year-old man, authorities said.

Officers administered Narcan to the man, who later regained consciousness and was transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said.
