Nutley, NJ – A few words of advice for Nutley residents looking to gain a parking edge by painting their curb yellow… don’t do it.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers allegedly saw a person applying yellow paint to the curb in front of two homes on Harrison Street on June 12.
After some dispute, the person eventually agreed to the officers’ insistence that they stop painting the curb, police said.

Officers took photos of the curbs and charged the person with criminal mischief.
A copy of the report was forwarded to the municipal road department, authorities said.
