Nutley Resident’s Door Kicked In During Burglary: Police
About $10,000 worth of personal belongings were missing from the home, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley resident’s door was recently kicked in during a burglary, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, the incident took place on Stewart Avenue on March 3.
The victim said they returned home to find their back door “kicked in.” During a walk-through of the residence with detectives, the owner identified about $10,000 worth of personal belongings that were missing, police said.

A neighbor told officers that they saw a slender man about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches “pacing around the area” about two hours prior to the burglary. He was wearing a white surgical mask and a blue, plaid, long-sleeve shirt, authorities said.
Police canvassed the neighborhood; an investigation continues, authorities said Friday.
