NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley resident is alleging that a Bitcoin-seeking psychic threatened her family, police said Friday.
According to the Nutley Police Department, the incident was reported on Thursday. The resident said she received an invitation for a “free psychic reading” from a bookstore in New York City via Instagram.

“The resident agreed to the reading, and upon completion, was prompted to assist the psychic in obtaining Bitcoin. When the resident declined, the party began making death threats and her and her family.”
