NUTLEY, NJ — It’s been about a month since the Cubanelle Restaurant – the town’s new Latin-flavored eatery joined the Chamber of Commerce… How are they doing, Nutley?

The eatery located at 522 Franklin Avenue, features a “magical blend of Latin soul and Cuban spirit” and “innovative Latin cooking” from celebrity chef, restaurateur, TV personality and author Alex Garcia, a leader of the Nuevo Latino cooking movement.

“Garcia is committed to serving his community a dedication demonstrated in his work starting the organization La Nueva Vida Culinary Program, which teaches formerly incarcerated individuals interested in culinary and hospitality management the essential skills needed to succeed in the industry,” the restaurant’s website states.
