Nutley’s Future Municipal Leaders Wanted: 2017 Scholarship Contest
There are three, $1,000 scholarships open to juniors and seniors who live in Nutley, organizers say.
NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley Mayor Joseph Scarpelli, in conjunction with the New Jersey State League of Municipalities, recently announced that high school juniors and seniors who reside in the Township of Nutley are eligible to apply for the Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition.
According to a municipal news release, the statewide scholarship competition centers on the theme “What My Municipal Government Does Best” and seeks to advance the virtues of elected and volunteer members of municipal government. There will be three, $1,000 scholarships available through the competition.

Entries should be received by mail, email or delivered in person by Friday, March 10.
