Nutley Street Sees Multiple Catalytic Converter Thefts: Police
Multiple cases of expensive auto part thefts were reported this week in Nutley, authorities said.
NUTLEY, NJ — Multiple vehicle owners reported the theft of expensive auto parts this week in Nutley, authorities announced Friday.
The Nutley Police Department released the following details about the catalytic converter thefts, which took place on Saint Mary’s Place:
May 28 – “A resident contacted headquarters to report a catalytic converter theft. They stated when they returned to their vehicle and attempted to start it, they realized the catalytic converter was missing.”

May 29 – “Officers responded on report of a catalytic converter theft. The victim stated when they returned to their vehicle, they observed their catalytic converter had been missing from under their vehicle. Total of two vehicles.”
