Nutley Teacher Earns ‘Educator of the Year’ Award For 2023

NUTLEY, NJ — A longtime teacher in Nutley has earned some well-deserved kudos as the Jaycee’s 2023 “Educator of the Year.”

Jianine Gambaro has a long history of service in the town’s schools, according to the Nutley Public School District:

“This is Jainine's 35th year in the district. She began her career at Washington School, before moving to Radcliffe where she was both a classroom teacher and then the Library/Media Specialist. For the past two years, Jainine has been the district K-6 Literacy Coach. A Nutley public school alumnus, Jainine received her B.A. from Montclair State University; her M.A. from Marygrove College; and her Library Certificate from Montclair State University. Over the years, Jainine has been active in Student Council, Math Night, and the Professional Development Committee.”

A dinner honoring Gambaro and the other recipients will be held on April 13 at the Valley Regency.
