Nutley Teen Cut With Knife During Argument In Park, Police Say
A Nutley teen was hospitalized and underwent surgery after being cut with a knife during an argument in Yantacaw Park, authorities said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley teen was hospitalized and underwent surgery after being cut with a knife during an argument in a local park earlier this month, police said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers responded to Yantacaw Park on April 9. They found a 17-year-old victim, who suffered a knife laceration to the abdomen.
The teen was transported to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery, police said.

Working with the Essex County Sheriff’s Department, Nutley police identified a juvenile – also a 17-year-old from Nutley – who they believe to be responsible for the aggravated assault, authorities said.
