Nutley Woman Witnesses Tire Slashing While Walking Dog: Police
The Nutley pet owner reported seeing a man "dressed all in black" jam an object into the tire of her neighbor's car, police say.

NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley resident witnessed a tire slashing on Hancox Avenue last week while taking her dog for a walk, police say.
According to the Nutley Police Department, a Hancox Avenue resident told officers that the tire slashing took place on Oct. 6 as she was walking her pet. That’s when she saw a man “dressed all in black” walk up to her neighbor’s car and jam an object into the tire, authorities said.
When the man saw that she was looking, he took off running on Hancox Avenue, police said.
