Panera, Amtrak Charges Appear On Nutley Victim’s Credit Card: Police

Nutley police say that two charges were made to a victim's stolen credit card: Panera and Amtrak.

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police say that a pair of charges were recently made to a local victim’s stolen credit card: Panera Bread and Amtrak.

According to the Nutley Police Department, on Oct. 12, officers received a report about two fraudulent charges made to a victim’s Visa card.

Police said that two transactions were made on the allegedly stolen card. The sales took place at Panera Bread and Amtrak.com, and came to about $1,851.

The victim’s financial institution is investigating the incident, Nutley police said.
