Pedestrian Returns Lost Wallet To Nutley Police Headquarters

NUTLEY, NJ — They got their wallet back, and it’s thanks to an honest pedestrian in Nutley, police say.
The Nutley Police Department recently shared a report about a wallet that was lost – and returned to its owner – on May 31.
A pedestrian told police that she found a wallet while walking on Chestnut Street. She later turned the wallet in at police headquarters.

Officers were able to make contact with the owner, who made a trip to the police station to pick it up, authorities said.
