Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Nutley: Police Seek Driver

Nutley police said that the driver may not have been aware that they struck the woman.

Nutley police are seeking a motorist who allegedly struck and seriously injured a 62-year-old pedestrian on Wednesday in the area of Centre Street and Myrtle Avenue.

According to police, a passing driver struck the woman around 5:23 p.m., causing “serious head injuries.”

Police said that the driver may not have been aware that he/she had struck the woman, who was wearing dark clothing.

Police stated that the vehicle may have been travelling down Myrtle Avenue at the time of the incident.
