Possible Drug Overdose Rescue On New Year's Eve In Nutley: PD
Emergency responders rescued a person who possibly overdosed on New Year's Eve in Nutley, police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — Emergency responders rescued a person suffering a possible drug overdose on New Year’s Eve in Nutley, police said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers and the Nutley Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad responded to a home on Race Street after getting notice of a possible overdose.
When Nutley police officers arrived, they administered two doses of Naloxone. EMS personnel administered a third dose after their arrival, and were able to restart the victim’s breathing, authorities said.

Emergency responders transported the unresponsive victim to a nearby hospital, police said.
