Same Car Used In Nutley Gas Station, Package Thefts: Police
NPD: A group of men in a car committed a gas-and-go theft at a local gas station. The same vehicle was also involved in a package theft.
NUTLEY, NJ — A group of men in a car allegedly committed a gas-and-go theft at a gas station in Nutley last week. The same vehicle was also involved in a package theft that took place earlier that day, police said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, a black BMW with three men inside pulled up to a gas station at the intersection of Prospect and Centre streets on May 11, gassed up the car, and then fled the scene without paying.
Gas station staff told police that one of the passengers brandished a handgun during the theft.

Earlier that day, a Prospect Street resident reported that they saw a man in a ski mask get out of a black BMW and take an item from a nearby porch. The package thief then fled the scene, police said.
