Spring Break Starts with Easter Egg Hunt
Kids Gather at the Belleville High School Grounds for Some Pre-Easter Fun
Neighborhood children trooped to the Belleville High School grounds early Saturday morning for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Before the hunt, delighted kids had their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. Richard Yanuzzi, president of the library board of trustees was on the school grounds early to scatter the Easter eggs. Board of Education Vice President,Peter Zangari also attended.
After 10 a.m., Yanuzzi, together with the Easter Bunny, did a countdown and at their signal, excited children ran to the grounds to gather as much eggs as they can. Within five minutes or so, the children were running back to their parents with baskets full of colored eggs. Then everyone was slumped on the ground, counting loot and discovering what prizes were hidden inside each egg.
