State Of Emergency In Nutley; 3 Coronavirus Cases, More Expected
Nutley officials declared a state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic. The town has seen several confirmed cases of COVID-19.
NUTLEY, NJ — The Township of Nutley Board of Commissioners and Office of Emergency Management declared a State of Emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday afternoon.
The action will provide the township with the tools needed to more effectively respond to the situation, officials said.

"At this time, there are three known confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nutley, and unfortunately more are anticipated in the days ahead. The township is working diligently to track any interactions the individuals who tested positive have had with residents, and we will ensure that anyone at risk of exposure is provided with all of the information necessary, including being tested themselves if appropriate. Due to federal privacy regulations, the township cannot share detailed information on cases and residents should not contact the Nutley Health Department to request patient details."
