Stolen In Belleville Business Burglary: Cheese Grater, Soda, Umbrellas

A Belleville business owner lost several kitchen and office items during a burglary on Washington Avenue, police say.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A Belleville business owner lost several kitchen and office items during a burglary last month, including a commercial slicer, an electric cheese grater and a sauce maker, police say.

And soda. They got the soda, too.

According to the Belleville Police Department, the Washington Avenue business owner arrived at his store around 8:40 a.m. on July 5 to find the back door open and the inside ransacked.

After checking the interior, the owner found the following items missing:

  • 2 computer monitors with cash drawers
  • 3 printers
  • commercial slicer
  • electric cheese grater
  • sauce maker
  • 3 outdoor umbrellas
  • pots and pans
  • An “unknown amount” of soda from refrigerator
