Stolen Car Flees Nutley Cops, Drives Towards Belleville: Police
A Nutley officer saw a car driving with its lights off at night. When the officer tried to pull it over, it fled towards Belleville.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A stolen car drove away from Nutley police last week, fleeing towards Belleville, authorities said.

On the evening of March 30, an officer saw a dark grey BMW traveling along side streets near Satterthwaite Avenue with its lights off. When the officer tried to pull the car over, the driver fled towards Belleville, authorities said.

Nutley police later learned the vehicle was reported stolen out of Montvale, authorities said. No additional information was immediately available in an initial police statement.
