Suspect Charged With 11 Car Burglaries In Nutley, Police Say

Nutley detectives identified a suspect with the help of police in Belleville and Bloomfield, authorities said.

NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police have identified and charged a person who allegedly committed 11 car burglaries in town, authorities said Friday.

According to the Nutley Police Department:

“Nutley detectives investigating 11 car burglaries that took place between January 18 and 20 were able to identity the suspect through surveillance and information sharing with our neighboring township police departments of Bloomfield and Belleville.”

Nutley police said that Derrick Daniels, 19, has been charged with 11 counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, and one count of theft, which were placed on a warrant.
