Teen Driver Hits Car While Looking At Cell Phone: Nutley Police
Nobody was injured in the two-car crash, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A teen driver allegedly hit another car on Thursday after she looked down at her cell phone while behind the wheel in Nutley, police said.
According to the Nutley Police Department:
“Police responded to Washington and Park Avenues in response to a two-car motor vehicle accident. The driver was found to have been 16-years-old with only a learner’s permit. She told police she looked down at her cell phone and struck the vehicle in front of her.”
The teen’s parents were notified. No injuries were reported, police said.
